720p HD Replay of This is Kentucky Basketball – S06E09

Hi everybody, a new episode of This is Kentucky Basketball is ready to watch using the link below. As always with this season of the series, big thanks to BWO for the video.

The sixth season of This is Kentucky Basketball covers the 2014-2015 basketball team and features such players as The Harrison Twins, Karl Towns, Trey Lyles, and Willie Cauley-Stein to name a few. This season’s format is a bit different than seasons past (more on that below), but the videos offer highlights of UK’s games, interviews with current and past players, coaching tips, Coach Cal’s pregame thoughts to the team, and lots lots more. They are definitely worth watching if you’re a true UK basketball fan.

Check back every Sunday in the afternoon to catch each week’s installment of this series. It should run until the end of the basketball season.

720p HD Replay of Kentucky at South Carolina Plus Leach & Pratt Sync Info

UPDATED 01/24/2014 AT 10:40 PM (EASTERN): Alright, a download link for the Leach & Pratt sync has been added below. We will hopefully have a streaming option available tomorrow morning.

UPDATED 01/24/2014 AT 9:50 PM (EASTERN): The commercial free replay is ready to go in 720p HD format, and the Leach & Pratt radio sync just started uploading. Since the “quick” replay was auto blocked, I’m sure the radio sync would be on YouTube as well… so I am uploading it to MEGA for now in .mp4 format and will provide a download link (about 45 minutes to an hour left to go). I will also try to get a stream from a source other than YouTube on here too, but that will likely not come until sometime tomorrow.

UPDATED 01/24/2014 AT 7:45 PM (EASTERN): A commercial free replay of today’s Kentucky at South Carolina game is ready to go below in a few low resolutions–a 720p HD option should finish processing soon. I’m currently working on the Leach & Pratt radio broadcast sync, but I don’t expect it to be available for several more hours.

A 720p HD replay of today’s Kentucky at South Carolina game is ready to go by clicking on the image or link below. This is a quick version replay that includes all the commercial breaks. A commercial free replay is currently being created, but it won’t be ready to go for a while yet. We’ll keep you updated when it’s available. A Leach & Pratt radio sync version will also be added either late tonight or sometime tomorrow morning. I’ll keep this post updated when I have more info about it as well.

Also, check back on this site for a replay of Kentucky’s next game at Missouri on Thursday, January 29th.

SPOILERS: The Cats came back off their sub-par performance against Vandy at home to give another great defensive effort against the Gamecocks. The team struggled at times offensively, but the Ulis and Booker combination was very fun to watch. With this game, Cal matches his best start of a season at UK, so Thursday night at Missouri should be a fun game to watch seeing as how the Cats mopped them by 49 a couple weeks ago.

Kentucky at South Carolina Live Stream and TV Info

The Kentucky Wildcats (18-0, 5-0 SEC) head down to Columbia to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks (10-7, 1-4 SEC) on Saturday, January 24th at noon (Eastern). South Carolina has had a bit of an up and down season so far–knocking off the #9 at the time Iowa State Cyclones, but losing to teams like Akron and Charlotte. This game, of course, was the game last year that Cal got ejected and the Cats lost to a pretty bad USC jr. team. After that game was when Aaron Harrison made his infamous quote about how they can still write a great story (and boy did they ever). As for the Las Vegas gambling folks, they started the betting line with Kentucky being favored by 10 points. I’d say the Cats will win by more, but it’s hard to predict because the Cats don’t always bring it against the lesser known opponents.

SPOILERS: Not the best effort ever by the Cats, but a few guys played well. Marcus Lee brought a bunch of energy to the game, Karl Towns had 7 blocks, and Aaron Harrison had an excellent second half. The bigs did not play very well down low on offense yet again, so hopefully they will improve throughout the remainder of the season. With that being said, I’m happy the Cats got the win and have improved to 18-0 on the season. Bring on South Carolina!

Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt Live Stream and TV Info

On Tuesday night, the Kentucky Wildcats (17-0, 4-0 SEC) take on the Vanderbilt Commodores (11-6, 1-3 SEC) at Rupp in Lexington, KY. Vandy hasn’t been doing very well this year, and most people do not think it will be a close game. The Las Vegas gambling folks started the opening betting line at UK winning by 22.5 points, so it will hopefully be another rout for the Cats.
