Kentucky vs. Montana State Live Stream and TV Info

EDIT 11/23/2014 at 11:15 AM (EASTERN): The site was down for a while due to an exceeding amount of traffic for the month. I just had to upgrade the account to a better/more expensive package that allows more traffic–but it made be pay for a year up front… :/ so if anyone wants to DONATE to help with that expense, that would be nice.

Coming off the 24 point victory against Boston on Friday, the Kentucky Wildcats take on the Montana State Bobcats on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:00 PM (Eastern) in Rupp Arena. While Boston was considered by most to be the toughest of the “weak” teams on UK’s out of conference schedule, many believe Montana State to be the weakest of the “weak” teams as they have an RPI number of 295 (out of 351 NCAA division one college basketball teams). So yeah, they’re pretty bad and I fully expect a huge blowout.

Alex Poythress was out with a sickness for Friday’s Boston game, but I haven’t seen anyone state whether or not he is better yet. I also haven’t seen a Vegas gambling line for this game yet either, but I’d imagine it will be a whopping big number when it comes out.

SPOILERS: What did you guys think about how the Cats played this game coming off the huge win against Kansas? The effort from most was pretty lackadaisical for most of the game, but the Cats pulled away in the end. Booker had a huge game–he shot the 3 ball very well and had some nice assists. Also, what about that lob dunk to Hawkins? Wow!

Kentucky vs. Boston Live Stream and TV Info

Coming off the incredible game Tuesday night where the Cats hammered Kansas by 32 points, the #1 ranked team in the nation takes on Boston Friday night at 7:00 PM (Eastern) in Rupp Arena. From what I am hearing, Boston is the best of the “cupcake” teams UK has on its schedule, and they have a couple of decent bigs. However, the gambling folks in Las Vegas have UK winning this game in blowout fashion–the last I saw the line, UK was slated to win by about 40. How do you think UK will play after their huge game against Kansas? Do you think they’ll they cover the spread?

Let’s Watch Together: UK vs. KU 2012 National Championship Game

UPDATE: That was pretty fun. Not a lot of participants, but enough to keep a nice chat going throughout the game. I haven’t decided on when to do the next game or what the next game will even be, but I’ll let everyone know sometime in the near future.

Brand new to the site is something a person suggested we do on CatsIllustrated, and that is to have a function where Cats fans can watch replays of classic UK games together–synchronized and with live chat. So I figured with the recent beat-down Kentucky put on Kansas, a good start would be the 2012 National Championship game featuring Kentucky and Kansas. Please visit the link below on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 PM (Eastern) for our first ever watch party.

The link above also has a handful of polls pertaining to the whole idea. If you’re interested in this project, please consider participating in the polls so I have an idea of what people want to happen.

Do you think this is a good idea, a bad idea? I personally think if we can get enough people involved that it could be pretty fun.

SPOILERS: What did you guys think about this game and the platoons? I was very nervous at tip-off, but my oh my did that change quickly. This team is REALLY good! I thought both platoons played excellent, and the defensive was the best I’ve seen in a LONG time. That was the #5 team in the country, and UK held them to about 20% from the field. This is going to be a fun season folks!

Kentucky vs. Kansas Live Stream and TV Info

Tonight is the night folks–the game everyone had marked on their calenders. The game everyone was talking about before the season started. Kentucky vs. Kansas–a rematch of the 2012 National Championship game. Up to this point in the young season, the Cats have played against less than stellar competition. Tonight many questions should be answered. Will Cal stick with the platoons throughout the entire game–even if the Cats are down at some point? Is UK as good as everyone thought, or will they struggle against a top-5 team in KU? Who will step up as this team’s leader as the going gets tough? It will be very fun and interesting to see how everything goes down tonight. I am pumped. The last I heard, the Vegas gambling line had UK winning by around 6 points. What do you guys think? Just about right, too high, too low?
