Devin Booker, the 2014-2015 UK commit, scored a season high 45 points on Saturday night in a losing effort against McGill-Toolen. Booker’s been doing very well in this his senior season at Moss Point. I’m excited to see him hit the court for the Cats next year.
In case you’re a UK fan that’s been living under a rock and don’t know much about Devin Booker, he is currently ranked as the 18th best prospect in the 2014-2015 class, and is considered as one of the top 2 three-point shooters in the entire class (along with James Blackmon Jr.) He is currently playing his high school basketball at Moss Point High School in Mississippi. Booker had offers from several other big time schools, including Michigan State, Michigan, Missouri, and Florida. Booker’s dad was a big start at Missouri, and the Tiger’s made a late push to try to get Booker to their school, but as is often the case when going up against John Calipari and Kentucky, Coach Cal won the recruiting battle yet again.
