Jamal Murray played for team Canada in the championship game of the Pan American games against Brazil on Saturday, and the Canadians unfortunately came up a bit short of the victory, but they still earned the silver medal. Murray struggled during the first half, but had a nice third quarter and ended up with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal in just under 25 minutes. You can watch a highlight video of his play below.
So this will conclude the Jamal Murray highlight videos/postings from the Pan Am games, but there’s still a chance he will play in the FIBA Americas games that run through the end of August and into the first couple weeks of September (I dunno how that scheduling will work out exactly with UK, but the announcers were acting like it’s definitely a possibility). If Murray does get to play in the FIBA Americas games, I’ll be sure to create more highlight videos of him.
