Saturday at 4:00 PM (Eastern) the Kentucky Wildcats (21-7, 11-4 SEC) travel to Columbia, SC to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks (10-18, 3-12 SEC). Kentucky is coming off a tough loss in OT at Rupp to Arkansas on Thursday with one of their worst performances as a team of the year, and South Carolina is just having a bad year period. The Gamecocks did play Baylor close earlier in the year, losing 66-64, so who knows what will happen on Saturday if the CATS don’t come out ready to play. The Las Vegas gambling line came out today and is has Kentucky winning by 9 points, which is less than it started out for both the recent Arkansas and LSU games. If the CATS cannot cover the line against the worst team in the SEC, then us fans might be in for some heartbreak come March Madness.
