Tuesday at 9:00 PM (Eastern) the Kentucky Wildcats (21-8, 11-5 SEC) play against the Alabama Crimson Tide (12-17, 6-10 SEC) as part of senior night at Rupp Arena. The two seniors on UK’s squad this year are Jarrod Polson and Jon Hood. Cal has stated that both seniors will get the start for this game. Kentucky is coming off a couple rough losses to Arkansas at home and at South Carolina–which many people are saying is the worst Kentucky loss during Cal’s tenure at UK. However, Aaron Harrison stated in the post game press conference that this team can still create a great story. My fingers are crossed.
Alabama has had a very tough year, but they have managed to beat LSU, Ole Miss, and Missouri. The Crimson Tide also have one of the best SEC players in senior guard Trevor Releford (another one of those players that feels like has been around for 10 years). The opening Vegas line has the Cats winning by 13.5 points. Vegas is usually pretty close with the Cats, but they’ve been way off the last few games.
