I’m late posting this, but here are the Arkansas post game videos from Tuesday night. First up is Coach Cal shorty addressing the media, followed by James Young and Julius Randle. Below each video are roughly written transcripts of the questions the media asked the coach and players. You’ll have to watch the videos to hear the answers.
QUESTIONS TO COACH CAL:
You’ve talked about learning how to finish down the stretch. What exactly [gets cut off by Coach Cal]…
On the flip side, with your two freshman the fact that James and Andrew were able to make those… [gets cut off by Coach Cal].
So do you leave out here feeling good, bad?
What affect, if any, did the way the game being called have on the rhythm?
You look surprised that Arkansas didn’t foul you the last possession of regulation. When it was a three point game.
How were your guys in the locker room?
QUESTIONS TO JAMES YOUNG AND JULIUS RANDLE:
He [Qualls] is known for his dunks. What did you think of that, as far as an athletic play given the circumstance?
After making all of those kind of crazy plays at the end regulation, again in overtime, to have a chance to sort of fight back in here on the road… How much sting is there to not win this one in particular?
Julius, what do you take from this [game]?
For either of you, how difficult was it to find a rhythm with the way the game was being called with so many fouls?
James, can you talk about those two shots near the end of overtime? You missed the first, then got it back. Were they pretty much the same shot, just two times?
You guys have 17 turnovers–6 for them–could you talk about how they were able to turn you over, or were you guys just having a rough game, or what what happening?
Julius, why do you think you didn’t cramp? If there was ever a game where a player might cramp, it seems like this would have been it–with overtime and intense game play…
Did you guys feel like you had the momentum going into overtime after you tied it up like you did?
James, were you supposed to take that shot at the end of regulation?
Both of ya’ll being freshman, what were your expectations coming into Bud Walton, and then what were your impressions after leaving?
